Refund & Delivery Policy

GENERAL POLICY

All purchases on BitDragons are made in Bitcoin on the blockchain. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible by design. Once your payment is confirmed on-chain, it cannot be reversed, cancelled, or refunded. This applies to all purchases regardless of tier or outcome.

DELIVERY PROCESS

After your Bitcoin payment is confirmed (1 on-chain confirmation), the following happens automatically:

  1. Your dragon's rarity is determined based on your tier's probability distribution
  2. A unique dragon artwork is generated by AI
  3. The artwork is inscribed as a Bitcoin Ordinal directly to your wallet
  4. You receive a reveal link to see your dragon

This process typically takes 1 to 48 hours depending on Bitcoin network conditions and current fee rates.

DELAYED INSCRIPTIONS

Inscription times depend on Bitcoin network congestion and the fee rate selected for your tier. During periods of high network activity, inscriptions may take longer than usual. This is not a failure — your order is queued and will be processed when network conditions allow.

You can check the status of your order at any time using the status link provided during checkout.

FAILED INSCRIPTIONS

In rare cases, an inscription may fail due to technical issues (API errors, network problems, or image generation failures). If this happens:

  • Our system automatically retries the inscription multiple times
  • If all retries fail, the order is flagged for manual review
  • We will make every reasonable effort to complete your order
  • If we are unable to complete the inscription, we will contact you to arrange a resolution

WRONG WALLET ADDRESS

It is your responsibility to provide a valid Bitcoin Taproot wallet address that supports Ordinals. We validate the address format before accepting your order, but we cannot verify that the address belongs to you or that your wallet software supports Ordinals.

Once an inscription is sent to a wallet address, it cannot be recalled or redirected. We strongly recommend using Xverse, Leather, or Unisat wallets, which fully support Ordinals.

UNDERPAYMENT

If you send less than the required Bitcoin amount, your payment may not be recognized and the order will not be processed. The underpaid amount cannot be refunded due to the nature of blockchain transactions. Please ensure you send the exact amount shown during checkout, including any network fees charged by your wallet.

WHEN WE MAY OFFER RESOLUTION

While refunds in the traditional sense are not possible with Bitcoin, we may offer alternative resolutions at our sole discretion in the following cases:

  • Our system fails to deliver the inscription after repeated attempts
  • A verified technical error on our side prevents order completion

Resolution may include re-attempting the inscription to a corrected address or, in exceptional cases, a replacement order. Any resolution is provided voluntarily and does not constitute an obligation.

EXPIRED ORDERS

Orders that do not receive payment within 48 hours are automatically expired. Expired orders cannot be reactivated. If you wish to purchase a dragon after an order has expired, you will need to start a new order. No charges are incurred for expired orders.
